Working Through a Canada Post Mail Strike

Here is how you can continue your claim during the mail strike.

We’re writing to inform you of a potential Canada Post strike that may begin as of July 2nd, 2016. While a potential strike may be indefinite, we want to plan for any possible delays in our mail correspondence with you.

If you have outstanding forms to return to us, we encourage you to either scan and email or fax us your forms. That way, we can continue our assistance with your Disability Tax Credit claim without delay. If you don’t own a scanner or a fax machine, we recommend the following locations that may be able to assist you:

  • Local libraries
  • Staples Business Depot
  • Shoppers Drug Mart
  • Select Convenience Stores

To return your outstanding forms, please scan and email them to applications@thenba.ca or fax them to 1-866-526-0971.

If you have any questions about your case, don’t hesitate to contact 1-888-389-0080.

If you’re expecting a cheque in the near future, we would suggest setting yourself up for direct deposit for the CRA. Not only will you receive retroactive refunds, but you will also have all future CRA-related deposits Click here to learn more.

We thank you for choosing The National Benefit Authority.
