Actually, otitis media is not a kind of hearing disorder but a kind of hearing infection. It said that three out of four children experience this kind of hearing infection by the time they reached 3 years old. ADD COMMENT

Yes. there are two main types of otitis media. The first type, which is called the acute otitis media means that the parts of the ear is infected and was swollen. This can be very painful.The otitis media with effusion, which is the second type,the fluid and mucus stay trapped in the ear after the infection is over. ADD COMMENT

This kind of ear infection, happens when some viruses and bacteria get inside the ear and cause an infection.Usually, it happens as a result of another illness, such as cold. If a certain child got sick, he or she might get an ear infection like this. ADD COMMENT
