Hi, there Norman? I think you mean, Noise- Induced Hearing Loss? Well, it's main cause is noise..too much loud noise. Permanent hearing impairment may be the price that many people paying for so much entertainment.

Yes, unfortunately there are no refunds. Most people just ignore the warnings that prolonged exposure to excessive volume can cause permanent hearing loss.

That's why i suggest that people who love to be entertain by loud music must wear an earplugs. It might sounds crazy but it could help them avoid the NIHL.

@normad the main cause of NIHL is a noise that cheryl told you. But the question is what kind of noise. In addition to it, noise that comes from produces pain, rock concert and even the noise come from chain saw can cause you a hearing loss problem. That's the detail that you want to know.

Tobacco can also be the cause of NIHL, and in addition NIHL are 2nd or the most common cause of
Hearing Loss
. Industrial solvent, lead and carbon monoxide should be avoided it can also cause you much trouble.

Less than 30 minutes of a loud concerts(120 decidels) can cause damage to the delicate instruments in your inner ears.We must be aware of it!1
